Windows 10 release date finally confirmed
Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will be available from July 29th globally.

AMD’s president and CEO Dr. Lisa Su recently revealed that Windows 10 will launch at the end of July, and is it seems she was correct.

The operating system (OS) will launch in 190 countries as a free upgrade to customers using Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
The Start menu returns with Windows 10, as well as support for Windows Defender providing users with free anti-malware protection.

On Microsoft’s blog, the company stated: “With Windows 10, we start delivering on our vision of more personal computing, defined by trust in how we protect and respect your personal information, mobility of the experience across your devices, and natural interactions with your Windows devices, including speech, touch, ink, and holograms.“

Microsoft’s personal assistant Cortana is also available with Windows 10 along with a new web browser called Microsoft Edge. The browser offers users content based on their interests with a built-in commenting system.
The Xbox Live and the integrated Xbox app have also been added to the new OS, allowing gamers to communicate with friends on other Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One, while playing any PC game.
Phil Samuels, computing category director at Currys/PC World, added: “We’re thrilled that Windows 10 will be launching as early as July 29th and that Microsoft will be offering an upgrade free of charge on all qualifying computers.

“We are already busy training colleagues to help our customers make the most of Windows 10 and to help them be more productive as a result.”
New versions of OneNote and Outlook will also be included with Windows 10 at no additional cost.
Microsoft also announced that there will different versions of Windows 10 for specific devices and users.
For example, there will be a Windows 10 Home edition and Windows 10 Mobile.
Etailer Newlgg.com also leaked some of the prices for the new OS, which have since been pulled down from the site.

According to Computer World Newegg.com revealed that the System Builder for Windows 10 Home and the consumer-grade version will be priced at $109.99, and Windows 10 Pro will cost $149.99.
