आजकल हर कोई विदेश जाने के सपने देखता है। विदेश में पढ़ने की बात हो या फिर बात हो घूमने की लोगों का ध्यान ऐसी चीजों की तरफ जरूर जाता है। अब अगर विदेश जाने की बात आए तो बिना पासपोर्ट आपकी दाल गलने वाली नहीं। गाहे-बगाहे आजकल लोग पासपोर्ट बनवाने के लिए पासपोर्ट ऑफिस के चक्कर लगा ही लेते हैं।
पासपोर्ट बनवाना आजकल एक नया ट्रेंड बन गया है। टीनएज में आने वाला हर बच्चा चाहता है कि उसके पास भी पासपोर्ट हो अब ऐसे में सबसे जरूरी हो जाता है पासपोर्ट के बारे में जानकारी होना। कई लोग एक्स्ट्रा पैसे देकर तत्काल में 10 दिन में पासपोर्ट बनवाना पसंद करते हैं।
कई लोग तो सिर्फ पासपोर्ट बनवाने की प्रक्रिया जानने के लिए पासपोर्ट ऑफिस के चक्कर लगाते रहते हैं। ऐसा ना हो इसलिए हम आज आपको बताने जा रहे हैं ऑनलाइन पासपोर्ट बनवाने का आसान तरीका।






सबसे पहले तो आपको लॉगइन करना होगा पासपोर्ट बनवाने के लिए बनाई गई ऑफिशियल साइट पर।  पासपोर्ट सेवा केन्द्र की साइट पर आप इस लिंक से जा सकते हैं।

इस साइट में आपको पासपोर्ट बनवाने से जुड़े कई सारे काम कर सकते हैं। जैसे ऑनलाइन फॉर्म को डाउनलोड करना, भरना और अपोइंटमेंट जैसे कई काम आप कर सकते हैं।

 पासपोर्ट बनवाने के लिए आपको सबसे पहले डाउनलोड करना होगा एक ऑनलाइन फॉर्म। यह फॉर्म पीडीएफ फॉर्मेट में आपके कम्प्यूटर में सेव हो जाएगा। इस फॉर्म को बड़े ध्यान से भरिएगा। एक गलती और आपका फॉर्म रिजेक्ट भी हो सकता है। फॉर्म डाउनलोड करने के लिए आपको "Download e-Form" लिंक पर क्लिक करना होगा। 
फॉर्म भरने के बाद बारी आती है इसे सेव करने की। इसके लिए फॉर्म के नीचे दिए Validate & Save (वैलिडेट एंड सेव) बटन पर क्लिक करना होगा। ऐसा करने से आपका फॉर्म एक XML फाइल में तब्दील हो जाएगा। यह XML फाइल ही आपको वेबसाइट पर अपलोड करनी होगी।

अब पासपोर्ट सेवा पोर्टल पर लॉग इन करना होगा। इसके लिए आपको पोर्टल पर एक आईडी बनानी होगी। आपके पासवर्ड में अल्फान्यूमैरिक डिजिट का होना जरूरी होता है। इस आईडी से आपको पासपोर्ट पोर्टल में लॉग ऑन करना पड़ेगा।

अब आपको अपनी XML फाइल उस साइट पर अपलोड करनी होगी। इसके लिए "Upload e-Form" लिंक पर क्लिक करना होगा। यह लिंक सिर्फ आपकी XML फाइल ही एक्सेप्ट करेगा। 



इसके बाद आएगा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण काम, ये है पासपोर्ट सेवा केन्द्र में आपकी अपोइंटमेंट फिक्स करने का। इस काम के लिए आपको अपनी आईडी से "Schedule Appointment" बटन पर क्लिक करना होगा। आजकल ऑनलाइन पेमेन्ट करना जरूरी हो गया है। इसके लिए आपको ऑनलाइन पैसे जमा करवाने होंगे जिसके बाद आपको अपोइंटमेंट लेनी होगी।

इसके बाद निर्धारित समय में पासपोर्ट सेवा केन्द्र जाकर अपने सारे दस्तावेज दिखाने होंगे। इसके लिए पहले "Print Application Receipt" बटन पर क्लिक करके आपको अपना रिफरेंस नंबर लेना होगा जो अपोइंटमेंट के समय आपके काम आएगा। इसके बाद पासपोर्ट पुलिस वेरिफिकेशन का नंबर आएगा।




पुलिस वेरिफिकेशन आपके पासपोर्ट फॉर्म में दिए गए ठिकाने पर होगा। इसके बाद निश्चित समय लेकर आपका पासपोर्ट आप तक पहुंचा दिया जाएगा।

  

Apply Online (Normal/Tatkaal passport)

Here two method is available
First one is submit your form online 
or 
Second one is  download your E-form (pdf) (Click here for download E-form) from web site  and after filling it( upload it (xml because after save and validate it is automatically converted in pdf to xml which is only acceptable) upload it online before upload xml, you need to register (Click on link for register)  your self or create your profile in  its portal then login (Click on Link for login) to upload xml.

e-Form Submission
Step 1 Download the e-Form through the "Download e-Form" link on the Home Page.
Step 2 Fill the downloaded e-Form and click the Validate & Save button.This will generate an XML file which will be required later for uploading in the system.
Step 3 Register through the Passport Seva Portal. (Click on "Register" link under the Online Application Filling section on the Home Page).
Step 4 Login to the Passport Seva Portal with the registered User ID.
Step 5 Upload the XML file (generated in Step 2) through the "Upload e-Form" link.Do not upload the PDF form at this stage as only XML file is accepted by the system.
Step 6 Click the "Schedule Appointment" link on the "View Saved/Submitted Applications" screen to schedule an appointment.

Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all Passport Seva Kendras.
Online Payment can be made using any one of the following modes:
  • Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard & Visa)
  • Internet Banking (State Bank of India (SBI) and Associate Banks Only)
  • SBI Bank Challan
Step 7 Click the "Print Application Receipt" link to print the application receipt containing Application Reference Number (ARN)/Appointment Number.
Step 8 Visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) where appointment has been booked, along with original documents.
Note:
  • Only emergency/medical cases and preapproved categories may visit Passport Seva Kendra without appointment. Service will be provided at the discretion of Passport Seva Kendra in-charge/Passport Officer.
  • Minor applicants below 4 years of age need to carry a recent coloured passport size (4.5 x 3.5 cm) photograph with a white background while visiting Passport Seva Kendra. Other applicants need not carry any photograph as photograph will be captured at the Passport Seva Kendra.
  • Resubmission of application form is required, in case the applicant does not visit the Passport Seva Kendra within 90 days from the online form submission.

Step 2 Login to the Passport Seva Portal with the registered User ID.
Step 3 Click "Apply for Fresh Passport / Reissue of Passport" link.
Step 4 Fill in the required details in the form and submit.
Step 5 Click the "Schedule Appointment" link on the "View Saved/Submitted Applications" screen to schedule an appointment.

Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all Passport Seva Kendras.
Online Payment can be made using any one of the following modes:

Step 6 Take the printout of filled application form through the "View / Print Submitted Form" link on View Saved/Submitted Applications page.
Step 7 Bring printed application form and original documents while visiting the Passport Office (PO) attached to your present residential address for submitting your application. Refer the instruction page of printed application form for more details.

Identity Certificate
